We started as a group of like-minded people who wanted to get out the word that biking is the cheapest, greenest, healthiest and most fun way to get around town. Of course, we all realized that while the Brick City has potential, there are many improvements needed on the streets – streets that have been designed and redesigned for decades with only cars in mind. Bcbc hopes to change this by both increasing the visibility of bikers and through direct advocacy for better bike infrastructure.

Even better, come out for one of our rides – on the first Friday of every month we leave from Beaver St. and Market downtown at 7pm and on the third Sunday of each month we ride after our free “fix your bike in the park” event in Lincoln Park, 2 – 4pm.
