On Tuesday, February 16, Ryan and I apprehensively attended Marty’s Rep Night. Marty’s Reliable Cycle (saving the world with bikes) is a wonderful bike shop at all three of its locations: Morristown, Randolph, and Hackettstown. Philip Roth, arguably America’s greatest living writer, grew up in the Weequahic neighborhood of Newark and wrote about it extensively in the Pulitzer Prize winning “American Pastoral”. His home at 81 Summit Street was the destination of today’s ride.
