This Sunday, September 13th, BCBC will be riding from Downtown Newark to Jersey City.
An example of the terrain: bring a camera, we need better bike access!
We’ll be striking out at 1pm from Beaver St. in Newark. Once in Jersey City we’ll get some delicious Indian food (there’s a few places on Grove St.) and perhaps swinging by the new beer garden to raise glass to the first summer of BCBC and the future of biking in Newark. The nearby PATH will be waiting to whisk us back to Newark.
The ride includes some tricky conditions and heavily trafficked areas, so is not recommended for children or novices. That said – I highly encourage those interested to come on out! Bring your helmet, a lock and some money for food and drink!

Absolutely! The ride was awesome – we’ll get some pics up soon. This Sunday, we are holding our repair day in Lincoln Park preceded by a ride to the Grand Mala (details will follow!).
